Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
SET - A ------- ( Custard )
1 TBSP Custard Powder
1 TBSP Corn Flour
1 cup Milk
2 TBSP Sugar
SET - B ------- ( Syrup )
½ cup Sugar
½ tsp Water
½ tsp Rose Water
½ tsp Lemon Juice
SET - C ------- ( Pancake )
½ cup Flour
½ cup Semolina
¼ tsp Yeast
½ tsp Baking Powder
1 TBSP Sugar
⅛ tsp Salt
1.25 cup Water

Qatayef is a delicious and beautiful type of pancake that is very popular in Middle Eastern countries.

Steps

Making Custard

- Mix SET - A until well combine
- Cook in medium heat fire
- Keep stirring until thickens
- Cool it down and keep aside

Preparing Syrup

- Mix SET - B and bring to boil for 10 min
- Set aside

Cooking Pancake

- Mix SET - C
- Cover with cling wrap
- Let it rest for 30 min
- In frying pan,pour ¼ cup of prepared batter and cook on low flame
- Cover with a kitchen towel until ready to use.
- Repeat the same for all the pancakes (makes 18-20).
- With the bubbly side facing up, fill each pancake with prepared custard filling.
- Fold the pancake in half and pinch the sides firmly with your fingertips to seal and garnish chopped pistachios.
- Refrigerate until chill.
